Portable Electricity Available With Power Inverter

November 19, 2007

Ever wish you could have electricity available any time you
wanted or needed it? What if you could have electricity in
a place where no outlet is available? It is possible and
we have discovered how to do it.

You only need three things to make this possible. First,
you need a portable power inverter, which changes the
direct current (DC) charge of a battery into alternating
current (AC). These inverters come in many sizes with
different voltages.

Second, you will need a battery. A 12-volt car battery
will be sufficient to provide the power you will need. We
suggest getting a spare 12-volt battery, so you can use
your electricity anywhere. You could use the battery in
your car, but you will need to keep the car running, so as
not to drain your battery. At the price of gas these days,
this will get very expensive.

Third, you will need a battery charger. This does not go
with you, but can be left at home. After you have used
your battery, it will need to be recharged. Also, if you
haven’t used the battery for a while, you will have to keep
it charged and ready. This only has to be done once a
month or after each use. Some power inverters now come
with a battery charger included, so a separate battery
charger is not needed.

Now that you have the necessary tools to get the
electricity, you need to know how to hook it up. Connect
the two cables of the power inverter, which has claw clips,
to the two battery posts. Then, turn on the inverter using
the on and off switch. The power inverter also has
electrical outlets. You plug your item(s) into the
inverter and you are all set. You will have electricity
for as long as the battery has a charge. It may be
necessary to have more than one battery available, if you
think you’ll need to have power for a long period of time.

Everyone should own a power inverter, battery charger and a
spare 12-volt battery. Start enjoying the freedom of
having free electricity whenever you want it or need it.
